Clutter – we all have it to some degree, but some do have more than others. The less clutter you have, however, the better for your home sale. Why is that? There are a few reasons.
One thing that a potential buyer will think if you have a lot of clutter is that there isn’t enough storage space in your home. They might think that you are forced to pile up your stuff in your garage or other places since there isn’t anywhere else to put it.
It could also be hiding a problem, such as rodents. If you have a lot of clutter, you offer rodents nice, undisturbed places where they can nest. The same thing goes for bugs. This could mean that someone buying your home would need to deal with the headaches pests bring.
While you might not think of these details when you create the clutter around your home, it is good to remember when you are about to put your home on the market.
